The Rivergreen Centre
The building owner, Rivergreen Developments had a hands-on role in the design and project management of the build and focused heavily on the environmental challenges of developing such a sustainable building.
Total occupancy of the building is approximately 300 which includes Rivergeen Developments staff and around 20 tenants.
Occupant satisfaction surveys were carried out using the BUS methodology a year after the building became occupied.
The MLC Centre
Thirty-three years after construction, refurbishment of the MLC Centre provided an opportunity to turn an existing building into a new work environment giving staff leading edge facilities with work-friendly technologies.
Staff were surveyed on several occasions to ensure the brief met the needs of a diverse workforce. The focus on sustainable development improved the quality of the environment and ensured operational cost saving.
A post-refurbishment evaluation showed that the office had a higher occupant satisfaction rating than any other office measured in Australia.
